How to Choose Resale Property

If you simply can’t wait to move into your own home, buying a resale property can be a great idea. Before you choose the property, here are some things to keep in mind:

Age of the property – Make sure it isn’t too old otherwise you’ll have to spend on repairs and renovation.
Quality of construction – Check every nook and cranny, for the structural design, state of the paint and plaster, the fixtures in the bathrooms and kitchen and pipes for leakage.
Check certifications – Make sure the title of the property is free of any mortgages, dues or dispute.
Check for additional costs – Apart from the sale price of the property, you will need to pay charges associated with transfer and registration of the property, and transfer of utilities to your name.
