You are eligible for the ICICI Bank NRI Seafarer Pro Program if you :
Maintain a minimum Monthly Average Balance of 2 lacs in your Current & Savings (CASA) Accounts
- Or 5 lacs in CASA + FD
- Or 25 lacs in your CASA + Deposit + Loans* + Demat** + Credit Card Spends***
- Or 50 lacs in Home Loan~

Documents required for the application
Following KYC documents are required:
- Self-attested copy of valid Passport (First and last four pages of the Passport with your name, address, date of birth, date and place of issue, expiry date, photograph and signature).
- Self-attested copy of valid Visa (first two and last two pages of the Passport as well as the page indicating the last date of arrival in India) OR Continuous Discharge Certificate (CDC). Certificate must indicate last date of arrival in India or declaration by ICICI employee (during Branch visit) confirming that you are sailing for the first time.
In case of employees at Oil Rigs, instead of a Visa a letter from the Government Authority stating “allowed to enter country” or a business Visa along with a valid appointment letter is taken.
- Seafarer’s from the customer. No separate declaration will be required if the declaration is part of the AOF (Account Opening Form)
1) Permanent employees, in addition to the above will have to submit the following documents:
- Initial work contract
- Last wage slip <should not be more than six months old>.
Or
2) If the customer is a contract employee then the following documents are also required:
- Valid CDC is a mandatory document along with the last page of the disembarkation stamp
- Valid work contract with the last page of the wage slip or
iii. Expired/ last contract letter if the disembarkation stamp on CDC is not more than <6> months old
Or
3) For oil rigs
- An expired contract letter can be accepted if the last disembarkation stamp on the Passport from the country where the oil rig is situated is not more than <6> months old.

NRI SEAFARER PRO FAQ's
You are eligible for the ICICI Bank NRI Pro account if you:
- Hold atleast one NRE or NRO Savings account, singly or jointly operated, with ICICI Bank and

Customer ID level: Monthly average balance in NRE Savings / Non interest bearing account + Monthly average balance in NRO Savings / Non interest bearing account + Month end balance in Fixed deposit/s and Recurring deposit/s within the same customer ID.
Existing NRI Regular account holder can upgrade to NRI Pro program upon agreement to the program eligibility. You can upgrade from any of these options : Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, Branch, Phone banking etc. Upon upgrade, you shall be eligible for a debit card upgrade.
If you already hold the requisite balances in your account, you can upgrade your account by placing a request at your nearest ICICI Bank branch or calling our 24x7 Customer Care.
If you don’t hold the requisite balances in your account, fund your account to ensure required balances and then, place the request at your nearest ICICI Bank branch or call our 24x7 Customer Care.
You can continue with the existing card after account upgrade.
Alternatively, you can apply for a new card through any of the following ways :

- Place a request through your Internet banking account.
- Visit you nearest ICICI Bank branch in India.
